Job Summary:

Java Spring Boot Developer responsible for building scalable healthcare APIs that process HIPAA and insurance data using Kafka, MongoDB, and Jenkins. Ensures high performance, security, and code quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and proactive DevOps support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Spring Boot RESTful APIs that process various healthcare-related files, including HIPAA and insurance data, on daily, weekly, and monthly cycles.
• Validate files using Kafka messaging queues, and store in MongoDB for secure and efficient access.
• Ensure code robustness and maintainability by writing comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Monitor and manage pods to handle seasonal traffic spikes and maintain high availability.
• Automate CI/CD processes using Jenkins pipelines, GitHub webhooks, and SonarQube for continuous code quality checks.
• Maintain APIs that benefit downstream applications.
• Contribute to DevOps activities, including managing deployment pipelines across environments, updating Kafka certificates, and monitoring DNS connectivity to ensure seamless and secure operations. 

Required Qualifications:

• Must have master’s degree or it’s foreign equivalent in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a related field and 6 months experience in job offered or in software development.
• Job at Ashburn, VA, and other unanticipated client locations across the U.S.
